Hi peeps! I hope you are all doing well! I was watching 'The Great British Bake off' the other day and had a bit of a lightbulb moment! SO....welcome to my blog!
With most of the kids at school now I actually have time to bake, its great actually being able to go into the kitchen, plugging in my mixer and pulling all the ingredients out! It really takes me to my happy place! I am by no means a professional, but I have a passion for baking and everyone who knows me, knows how much of a sweet tooth my whole family has so what better motivation than having gushing family members eh?!
I didn't bake today as I was trying to be productive with my website, however I came across some cupcakes I made very quickly for my son. He is so obsessed with Avengers (mainly Iron-man and Spiderman) so I whipped up a batch of vanilla cupcakes and made them fancy. Gone are the days when I used to make my own fondant so alas I had to use shop brought, but he loved them all the same and his face was a picture when he saw them! They aren't the most professional looking toppers , but I'm a proud homebaker! All the faces were cut out freehand too!
